Lark Design Make runs Baby showers craft parties for women - and men - celebrate the exciting arrival of a new baby!
Your Baby shower can be held at our Cardiff studio - in Cathays - we can host groups from 6 to 22 people
All parties are 2.5 hours and range from £28-£35 per person
We have chosen crafts that we feel work well for a mixed group but we are open to offering crafts that you may have seen on our social media recently.
Benefits of a Lark Party…
There are many great things about having a Baby shower with us, one of the main ones is that you can bring alcoholic drinks & snacks for your short break time. There are lots of great food and drink options nearby for before or after your craft activity.
We also try and keep the event nice and simple for you, this includes us decorating the studio with colourful bunting and personalised photo props
We have a booking process so you can focus on other parts of your event.
How to book a Lark Party…
Step 1 : Complete the enquiry form below we will reply with our availability within 2 days
Step 2 : If we are available to host your party we will send a link to pay a £50 deposit to secure the date
Step 3 : Once the deposit is received we will get all the crafty materials ready for you and will be in touch again just over a week before your event to confirm final numbers, we will then send a final invoice which should be paid 7 days before the event.

Party Prices 2024
All our baby shower parties take 2.5 hours, this includes a short break
6-8 attendees = £35 per person
9-12 attendees = £30 per person
13+ attendees = £28 per person
Make a Baby Blanket as a team!
Select a colour theme and we will prepare lots of cotton squares and felt pieces, each guest can then create one or two applique squares that will then be passed onto a local quilter to assemble into a blanket (which can then be collected from the studio or posted to the mum to be a couple of weeks after the event)
*Minimum numbers/invoice amount for this event need to be 10 attendees to cover the cost of making the blanket
*If your group is smaller we could look to make a simple patchwork cushion (6-9 guests)
Make a Nursery Mobile as a team!
Give us an idea of the new arrivals nursery style and we can create felt shapes that can be hand sewn into cute mobile decorations to create a nursery mobile to take home.
Make Nursery Bunting as a team!
Choose a colour theme and everyone can sew a few bunting triangles (or other shapes) each, this will then be assembled into a long bunting to decorate a nursery.
You can also work as a team to add some personalised applique to the bunting too.
