This workshop is suitable for children over 6 years old accompanied by an adult. The ticket price is for you both and you will make 2 items each, If you would like to bring an additional child/parent you can use the code ‘family’ when purchasing an extra ticket and it will then cost just £15 and they will dye 2 items also.

Shibori is a Japanese tie dye technique, the natural dye oxidises from green to a beautiful indigo blue. During this 2 hour workshop you will experiment with various techniques including the Sekka method using fan folds and blocks, the Arashi method of using a pipe to twist and make folds as well as the more well-known method Kanoko associated with using rubber bands and beads. You can then choose which will best suit your own 2 projects, a lightweight scarf, cushion cover or napkin which you can take home.
