Suitable for adults and crafty kids over 11.
Get to know how to use a sewing machine and catch the sewing bug in this fun beginners workshop. You will make a simple envelope cushion complete with a patchwork design front. Includes all materials but feel free to bring some fabric if you'd like a cushion to perfectly match your home.
You will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, change needles, sew in a straight line and change directions. You will then move onto cutting out a simple pattern.
The sewing machines are provided, but if you have your own at home then please feel free to bring it along! Refreshments also included.
