…with Aquila from Love & Lovelier

In this workshop I will lead you through making your own postcard out of stoneware ceramic clay. The finished postcard will measure approximately 13 x 8.5cm. After learning how to shape and smooth the clay, you will use a multitude of stamps to imprint words and images to make your postcard truly your own. You can put names, dates or short phrases on your postcard using a variety of font sizes. During the workshop you will choose what colour you'd like your postcard glazed. The drying, glazing, and firing process takes place after the workshop, and your postcard will be posted out to you about two weeks later. All materials, tea, coffee, (and biscuits!) all included.
This workshop is aimed at adults but would also be enjoyed by crafty kids over 12 years old who can join independently as long as you provide contact details.
