The Hexi Cardigan is a staple for all wardrobes & is just perfect to keep you warm during the cold months ahead.
In this workshop you will learn how to create the basic shapes for this cardigan, joining & edging methods, blocking techniques & pattern reading too! The course does not include yarn, you will use practice yarn in session 1 , you can then buy yarn from Lark or will be given advice on buying yarn online.
It is a multiweek workshop, allowing you time in between the workshops to crochet & create your pieces. the weeks are as follows:
Session 1: Thursday 21st March - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
This session is all about the main pattern, THE HEXI! We'll learn all about how the cardigan is constructed, pattern reading & stitches.
PLUS there is 2 weeks between session 1 & session 2 to allow you enough time to crochet your pieces.
Session 2: Thursday 11th April - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
This session we'll be looking at joining methods, adding more Granny Stripe stitches where needed & running through the edging method.
Session 3: Thursday 18th April - 6.30 to 8.30pm
This session we'll be finishing off our edging & looking at some blocking methods. Blocking is a fab technique to learn that will even out your crochet & give your wearables the best finish!
Tutorials will be available on YouTube for you to follow in between the workshops. Also this workshop is aimed at crocheters who are confident & can already crochet at least one stitch.
