with Nia from The Smug Soles Co.
Show your pooch how much you love them by crafting their own personalised, made to measure leather dog collar. Perfect for beginners, this workshop will introduce you to some basic leather crafting skills that can be applied to a range of projects.
During this two and a half hour workshop you will learn how to
Cut leather
Punch holes
Use a beveling tool
Burnish edges
Fit hardware and rivets
Emboss leather
All collars will be 20mm wide and made from brown 3.5mm vegetable tanned leather with brass buckles, D-rings and rivets.
If you would like to make a wider 25mm collar, please add a note at checkout.
Do not forget to bring your dogs neck measurement along to this workshop. This can be done by measuring their old collar (not including the buckle) or by measuring around their neck with a tape measure. Pull the tape measure snug but not tight and allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and the dogs neck.
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.u!
