Hey, I'm Kaylee-Beth, in charge of writing the blog for today! I'm 15 and I've been doing work experience with Gemma over 5 days and I've enjoyed every minute. I've been to a few of Gemma's workshops in the past, so was very excited to start. I absolutely adore craft so being around all the colour and excitement of the studio has been great. Gemma has taught me a bunch of stuff and has definitely kept me busy. All though the tasks Gemma has set have been fun, cuddles with my new best friend Gwen has definitely been one of the main highlights, she makes working quite difficult sometimes because she's so cute!
I have learned all sorts of things, ranging from creating and selling craft kits, to running the website and sending invoices. I made sock worm, macrame jewellery and crochet necklace kits. I have learnt many new skills, and not necessarily just about arts and crafts. I also finally learned how to scroll on a Macbook, a useful tool I am excited to use in the future now. I helped set up new workshops on the Lark website and am excited to see how many people sign up to them, so book now. I’ve loved being at the studio in Roath, Cardiff :-)
